Different forms of challenges come with their unique degrees of unpleasantness and hardship. There are a few strategies for emerging from adversity in a way that can help your well-being.

  • Rather than resisting challenges, accept those obstacles. Allow yourself the time to feel the natural emotions that will likely arise, like anger or sadness. 

  • Suppose you recognize that hardship arose from a habit that has revealed itself as harmful. In that case, you can change or replace the pattern with something that moves you toward happiness. 

  • Double down on daily gratitude practice. Cultivating a habit of meditation practice can help us notice life’s joys, big and small.
